What good is JIM GARRETT ? I have read his post on 27870 before and all i see is a useless man who enjoys criticizing other people !!! Why does he want so much attention ? I see that all he is doing to the town of roanke rapids is tearing it apart . He uses people like chalie beaver. I see this week he's kissing his a-- for his wife use of the talk show on relay 4 life. He will also drag any body he can into something to make people look bad . What his the point of the signs, sign everwhere you look signs ? Does any of these people deserve to be belittle like that ? He is talking so much about the citys problems laying off city employes . But he supportS relay 4 life ! they take out over a 100,000.00 a year without any money to help the people in the roanke valley Oh how about the youngs & most inexperience police department THAT HE TALK JUNK ABOUT ? great job rrpd on the fast work on the applebee's murder case . Well i got to go now talk some more later

Did anybody see where jim belittle roy edmonds on 27870 city council should be bracing for more criticism ? Man what nerve does jim have roy's wife (dorothy) if i'm not mistaken she is big into relay for life . Why would jim do that to that man ? what did roy do to deserve this criticism ? MAYBE JIM DIDN'T GET THAT SEAT? Who's next ? Who's jim next victim ?

No...there is others, but we have beat this bush to no end man, dig up the past posts. Its kinda like beating a dead horse, no need to continue to do so.

Jim can keep going, there is nothing anyone can do tto really stop him to be honest with you, unless they went after him on the legal end of matters....and in today's times with blogs and forums with folks talking crap such as they do, about any judge will toss it out and let it go. If the law can't combat stuff on the street, they'll never follow up with internet stuff. All you can really do is.....do to others as they do to you when it comes to online disputes, or simply forget it and walk away. Usually folks get bold enough shortly they'll burn their own bridges with people and people don't believe a word they say or do.....not saying thats exactly jimbo's case, but thats my vision of the entire internet he-said-she said fiasco.

One more observation before we let this topic die out: Notice how he's always shouting out how everyone should be out doing the city's work? "Paint over the grafitti yourself!" I have yet to see a picture of Jim with a bucket of paint and a brush in his hand. People would take him seriously if he'd practice what he preached. He needs to start posting pictures of "Look what I did" instead of "Look what everyone else needs to do".
