Not sure that I can disagree with anything he's said. In terms of fiscal policy, he seems to be far more direct and articulate than either of the mouthpieces from the Left or the Right on where the problems are and how to fix it. I don't think we should just pull everybody home right this second, I think the vacuum of power that would cause would be even more destabilizing to countries with a tenuous government like Iraq & Afghanistan than to have ever gone in, but at the same time we are spending a lot of money and lives on goals that are hard to measure and fighting an enemy that is a wraith. If we pulled out of this (which would save a lot of money spent on deployments) and got government out of every little thing like they are involved in now, we could easily right the problems around here and start paying on the debt. Something that, lets be honest, no president or political party in the 21st century has given a damn about.
