Wobble Island sounds like a kid's toy.

Slash........if you leave the main body of the lake and head under the bridge as if you were going to Washburn's Marina, keep forking over to the left and follow the shoreline. You will eventually see the island. I am not a regular there by any means, but I have been over there quite a few times with some friends. Its one of the happening places to hang out during the day. We have played some water volleyball a few times over there. Parking over there gets a little freaky most of the time, and I don't like my mess to get beat up, so I try and stay away. Good place to carry a pontoon boat though, or  get there early in the day for the good parking.

I remember hearing some rumbling about the noise and trash left on the island last summer.

I can't say I heard anything about that one, usually the folks I have seen over there are pretty responsible. But there is always a few that ruin it for all, we know how that goes! Over the years, I have seen some good times at Goat Island as well, but thats kinda grown old, wobble is the new deal.

There was some stuff in the Herald's Sound Off section about an article that was in the paper. The usual complaints from people that think all you should hear is ducks and crickets at the lake.
