A third party candidate in 2012?Do you think Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh will create a 3rd party in the near future? If you've been paying attention the last couple of weeks you can see the far right of the Republican party being shunned by some of the mainstream Republicans. I don't think this country is going to be big enough for both of them. Stay tuned.

This thing has legs people. Newt Gingrich and Glenn Beck will split the ultra conservatives away from the Republican Party before 2012. The Dems could be in an extremely strong position then. Progress at last.

Never happen Cure, we are a little bit smarter than your average democrap. Obama was just in the right place, at the right time, is the only reason he is in office today.

And very well, I actually knew his daughter while she was enrolled at UNC Chapel Hill...but I couldn't support that nut case either.

You read into what I post and think the wrong at times.....I listen to them a bunch, hell I've got XM and a helluva AM band as well. I enjoy listening to their shows and hearing their sides......NEVER did I say I agreed with them 100% on everything. I travel all the time, listening to music all day long gets old, hell I listen to a bunch of talk radio news shows.

I think you're on to something. Gingrich's ego keeps telling him he's the right wing's darling. He's in bed with Fox, Limbaugh, Beck, etc, etc. He's from the "right" part of the country. He has all the qualifications, such and great family values, etc. etc. that the ultra's seem to want. The ultra conservatives are looking a leader. He just might be the man to lead them into oblivion.

Ross Perot was no nutcase unless he thought he could win the election. No I didn't vote for him or campaign either. I did appreciate the 'fly in the ointment' he injected into the business as usual campaigns from the repubs and dems. He invigorated a segment who was sick of the same old two tunes. He spoke to patriots and silent conservatives and people who believe in America as a special nation. He was definitely not someone I would put as president. A tad bit too short tempered and self-assured and too quick to answer, and not open to debate. But he was a fed up American entitled to his perspective and opinion of where our gov't had mislead us. For that I applaud him. He gave courage to others who were sick of 'taking it' too. He planted seeds for some of the revolt against liberal progressives we see now.
That is a legacy not to be ashamed of.

So you agree the time is right for it to happen again fly?

It could very well be time. The Dems are heading further left of 'left of center' and the reps seeem to take a 'dress right dress' from them moving them left also. Those conservatives in the party are dividing the coalition so they are ineffectual. There needs to be a party that speaks to the average conservative, hardworking, promorality, less taxes, personal freedom loving, small gov't American. They are getting lost in the battle of 'one dose of socialism or two'? They want out of the whole scenario. They are broken hearted that they haven't done anything wrong and they have to pay the price, again for the gov'ts screw ups.
It would be time if one could arise with the captive charisma of a Ronald Reagan or Barack Obama but I haven't seen one. It would take this type of hyper charisma to break through the 'game' that is Washington.
