He's washed up and old news, but he's still the biggest name ever to be associated with the joke that is MLS.

Wouldn't it be great to be old news and washed up and someone give you 250 million dollars?

I can only imagine at least 90% of that is tied up in endorsement deals, because I don't think any MLS franchise can afford to drop that kind of cash on all of their players, much less one. He's a brand name that sells and will bring up attendance figures in LA and whenever they play on the road, but I don't think it's going to be such a dramatic difference as some people think. He's probably the most recognized face and name in the sport especially amongst Americans, but I don't think people are going to go busting out of their houses to see Beckham when he comes to town. That being said, he'll probably be an all-star in the MLS, but I wouldn't really consider that to be too big of an honor.

I am not a soccer fan, but I have to admit that I will actually watch it if he is playing. That guy is hot.

I know this is really a stretch, but does anyone on here actually keep up with soccer? I've been following the English Premiership pretty closely this year.
