Embarq/Century LinkI always got great service thru Embarq and felt the price was a wee bit high, but decent enough not to change service providers, plus the service techs have always been johnny on the spot if I ever had an issue. I got my first Century Link bill.....$150 for inet, home phone, and satellite. The same package that just shortly back was like $110 from embarq. I think Charter has a bundled pkg now for all 3 for around $69 a month on a promotion. Charter use to suck, I hven't dealt with them in 4 years now......have they got any better is my question??? Any of you all using charter now, whats your experience with them?

I use Charter only for internet access. Expensive, but good. Maybe 3 years or so ago, I bought a large screen digital TV and the picture was lousy (fuzzy) and unreliable. I went to Dish for TV - and it's great. Still have local phone with embarq/centurylink whatever.

I called them earlier and get this....told them I was looking at other packages and this is the prices I wound up getting....about a $100 a month, so it saved me right at $50 a month calling and asking about promotions, this is locked in for a year....but a savings of $600 is not bad, so I stayed with Century Link for atleast 12 more months anyhoo.
Internet 19.95 for the high speed
Phone 24.95
Long Distance Unlimited 15.00
Satellite Pkg thru Dish Network 200 Channel plan $42
