Lots of facts and common sense in that opinion and the comment following it. Problem is the right wing obstructionists don't pay any attention to either.

You're right outsider. The best thing that could have happened was the bill that Sen. Baucus presented. It showed that after all that time that was spent with those Republicans trying to reach a bi-partisan solution that they really didn't want a solution at all. Now is the time for the Democrats to push ahead alone and really reform health care with a strong public option.
