Hey Guys!Let's try to move on from the name calling and trying to find out who the other members are. This board is an anonymous forum for individuals to post their opinion. You can choose to reveal your identity but if you out someone that doesn't want to be identified you'll be banned from the board. I would like to suggest that you don't post your identity. The web is full of people with bad intentions.

Kicking people who dont agree with us isn't our way of doing things, that's Jim's. If any of you guys had logged on to Jim's site and posted the things you have here about some of his opinions, you would already be gone! We may not agree, but rorap gets the last laugh because differing opinions actually exist!

I was hoping we would stop the name calling as a courtesy. I don't think calling someone a coward is grounds for banning them from this site. Trying to out people is an entirely different matter. If some of you are trying to be a martyr I'll be happy to oblige you.

What does "outing" someone mean? From my point of view it's giving him a dose of his own medicine. Sounds like a double standard to me.

outing in this case, US-Patriot would be exposing a screen-name's true identity if that screen-name wished to remain anonymous.

Some of us don't trust our fellow man (or woman) and would prefer to not have our name known. I'm slightly concerned that folks might come after me and hurt me personally because of my views, so I haven't said my name. But I've probably dropped enough hints so someone smart enough could figure it out. But saying "tell me your name, coward" looks pretty bad to me, even if I happen to agree with you on many issues. Saying "this persons name is X" is too far, that's all admin is saying.

as a moderator here and admin on other sites, I think our "admin" shows excellent leadership by taking a clear and firm stand on this issue. some members here simply are not afforded free speech due to their jobs/careers.
i know of several posts that have been made here that utilized "inside" information, where the member originating the post could have been in jeopardy had they used their true identity.
another good example of this would be the municipal employee for a county, city or other "government" job who is not afforded free speech other than posting anonymously on this forum.
this has been the rule here since the beginning - there should be no surprises.
it really could be worse; there are admins for other boards who offer a "bounty" to find out a members identity. believe it or not...
