Exclusive: A Letter to Press Secretary Robert Gibbs on the Obama Birth Certificate Question – Round TwoJohn D. Hemenway, Esq

Editor’s note: The following is a letter written by John D. Hemenway, Esq. that was sent to White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs via certified mail. Mr. Hemenway’s first letter to Mr. Gibbs can be seen here.
FamilySecurityMatters.org Contributor John D. Hemenway, Esq. is a World War II veteran, Naval Academy graduate and a Rhodes scholar.

June 18, 2009

Mr. Robert Gibbs ;
White House Press Secretary
The White House
Washington, D.C. 20001

Dear Mr. Gibbs,

On June 11, during his nation-wide radio broadcast with an audience of an estimated twenty million listeners, Rush Limbaugh repeated at least six times that Barrack Obama and God have one thing in common: neither God nor Obama have a birth certificate!

You have not responded to my letter of June 3, 2009, on this same subject, which enclosed a copy of my recent missive to Rupert Murdoch, a one-time school colleague of mine from Worcester College, University of Oxford. Those letters and Rush Limbaugh’s joke over Obama’s refusal to make public details concerning his birth all concerned Article II, Section 1 of the United States Constitution. That clause requires the President to be a “natural born” citizen.

Therefore, anyone conversant with our Constitution or who reads any of these letters will be appalled at your disingenuous and high-handed response to the question posed by Lester Kinsolving of World Net Daily. You further displayed your ignorance of the Constitution by asserting about a week later that we are committed to being a democracy! The United States of America is a Republic. When asked what had been created during the secret drafting sessions by the founding fathers, Benjamin Franklin responded: “A Republic, madam, if you can keep it!” Actions by you, Barack Obama, irresponsible judges and various high officials are destroying that very Constitution.

Frankly, Mr. Gibbs, you lied to Kinsolving on May 27, 2009, when you said that “…the president’s birth certificate [is] on the Internet.” You are deliberately misleading people to believe the Hawaiian Certification of Live Birth (COLB) is the same as a standard birth certificate with a hospital name and doctor’s signature. You are the spokesman for an administration that repeatedly emphasized that it would be transparent and open. By assisting in this major misrepresentation related to the “online” Certification of Live Birth (COLB), you personally could be accused of aiding criminal fraud.

The certificate of live birth (COLB) placed on the Internet by agents for Obama has been denounced as a forgery by authorities thoroughly familiar with documentation produced by Hawaii’s Department of Home Lands. Such a document would not be acceptable to obtain a drivers’ license in most states in America simply because it is not a birth certificate.

More recently, Hawaiian officials have joined White House officials in a cover-up of all records of any sort that might shed light on Obama’s actual birth place. It was just such outrageous cover-ups that caused President Richard Nixon’s resignation to avoid impeachment. Similar lies (under oath) led to President Clinton’s impeachment. Why are you covering up for Barack Hussein Obama (aka Soetoro)? Do you believe that it is your sworn duty as an American official to lie about such matters?

The verbatim transcript of your blatant lies have been posted in several public places. It is reported that the entire White House press corps laughed, following your lead, when you rejected Les Kinsolvings legitimate and searching question.

Lester Kinsolving’s intelligent question was hardly a laughing matter for you or the White House press corps. His question concerned the fundamental issue of whether Obama could ever meet the constitutional requirements for the office of President of the United States of America. The Presidency is the only office requiring the holder to be a natural born citizen.

In my letter to Rupert Murdoch, I noted that close to a million dollars has been spent to cover up Obama’s birth records and school records. After receipt of that letter, Murdoch’s Fox News covered the birth record story for the first time. Now Rush Limbaugh has picked up and reported (in his own unique way) this critical constitutional matter. It is evident to any person knowing the basic facts, that Obama is covering up something personal he wishes strongly to conceal.

A tape of his April 6, 2008 San Francisco fundraiser speech reveals that Obama traveled to Indonesia and Pakistan in 1981. At that time, the Department of State recommended against travel to that part of the world for U.S. citizens. What was the passport Obama used to facilitate such travel? Was it Indonesian – or was it British? Or did he travel as a stateless person? Exactly who are Obama’s parents?

The Kenyan Ambassador acknowledged at one time that Obama was born in Kenya; thus, he might be entitled to a British passport. Obama’s grandmother agreed on Obama’s birthplace and has stated that she was present for his birth in Kenya. Why does no hospital in Hawaii acknowlege that Obama was born on their premises? To attend school in Indonesia (which Obama did during his mother’s second marriage) one must be a citizen of Indonesia. How then, did Obama subsequently guarantee any claim to U.S. citizenship?

The public has the right to know such personal details about the occupant of the White House – as a matter of Constitutional law. As I said, and I will repeat again here, you lied to Les Kinsolving on May 27. When will the White House present credible evidence pertaining to details of Obama’s (Soetoro’s) birth that can be tested for basic honesty – that is, direct his legal defense team to release hard copies of all of his sealed records, demonstrating the era of transparency that he promised the American people? Millions of voting Americans want a prompt answer to this nagging question. They will insist that the Constitution of the United States be respected and scrupulously followed.

Sincerely yours,

John D. Hemenway

It's just a small thing I know.  Just a constitution thing whether or not Obama is an American.  Nit picky I know but some people are just stubborn that way.  Those silly constitution-philes.  That old thing doesn't mean anything.  Only what Obama says should be law.  Don't you agree?

Outsider

The Origins of Obama's Citizenship Conspiracy.

http://andyetanotherstupidblog.bl...rigins-of-obamas-citizenship.html

Quote:
Since all of these paranoid conspiracy theories about whether or not Obama is a citizen of the United States, and thus eligible to be President don't seem to be going away, this citizen decided to do some research of his own. What I found was shocking.

For starters, lets review a bit. The eligibility questions actually started with John McCain during the Republican primary. There was ample mudslinging going on between them and someone started a whisper campaign questioning McCain's eligibility to be president as a way to discredit him. Now, rumor and innuendo are one of the central tricks of the trade of the Republican party, and John McCain was born in Panama, but the legality of this issue was fairly obvious. He was born to American citizens on a military base, which is legally considered American (United States of America that is) territory. Thus, the whisper campaign never gained too much traction, but persisted.

Fast forward to a year later, in the heat of the presidential campaign, right wing websites such as the WorldNet Daily (a right wing tabloid specializing in sensationalistic headlines and conspiracy theories) and Stormfront (the central White Supremacist forum board) began having almost daily discussions about the eligibility issue, but not about McCain, about Barack Obama. This whisper campaign gained much more traction, partially due to the time he spent outside of the country when he was growing up and also by parallel rumors that he was a secret muslim (middle name of Hussein), he took his oath on the Koran (that was US Rep. Keith Ellison of Minnesota), and misunderstandings about what is considered a legal document pertaining to birth.

Now, despite the WND continuing their twisting of reality and keeping the flames of paranoia stoked, this conspiracy theory has been thoroughly debunked over and over again. You might remember recently when Wikipedia had to stop edits of it's page on Obama because of conservative graffiti and vandalism on his early life section.
They even have a page devoted to Obama citizenship conspiracy theories. The "birthers" (conspiracy theorists who continue to disregard the evidence and believe he is ineligible to be the POTUS) have been further fueled by the misinformation headquarters conservapedia and have spearheaded an online petition on the WND that supposedly has garnerd 300k signatures (authenticity unverified). Recently, one of the legal agitators named Orly Taintz supposedly discussed the matter with Antonin Scalia and presented that petition to Chief Justice John Roberts at a lecture at the University of Idaho.

Despite the evidence clearly indicating that Barack Obama is a US citizen (you can see the birth certificate at FactCheck.org), the question arises, where exactly did this issue of eligibility transform from one about John McCain to one about Barack Obama? The answer may surprise you.

It comes from a blogger website called 'mean ol'meany' in an article published Saturday, March 01, 2008 titled 'Obama is a Kenyan, But Not Really or IS He?' The catch is, it was satire. That's right, a joke. Like so many runaway rumors that spread across the internet (you can find many of them on the always entertaining snopes), this one started to spread through email chains and whispers until it gained enough traction that an actual controversy began. To dispel rumors like these (and there were hundreds of them), Obama's team utilized the power of the internet and set up a website to debunk the lies at FightTheSmears.

There you have it folks. An entire year of paranoid delusions based on satire. Not surprisingly, these people continue to also disbelieve evolution, climate change, and a host of other reality-based truths, so expect to keep hearing about this, but next time, don't be so quick to give them a pass.

Blogspot in and of itself is simply a neutral platform, like a blank sheet of paper. It provides a service for anyone, of any political or religious persuasion to post anything at all barring illegal activity or terms of service violations (pornography... etc)

That does mean you shouldn't take everything you read there at face value, since anyone and everyone is free to post anything they want, true or not. By all means, if you doubt an assertion made by a blog author, do your own research! It's quite simple in this day and age to fact check.

That is probably why a newpaper clipping would not be considered official documentation for US birth wouldn't you say?  Is this the hard evidence you have?

Long forms are no longer available.

…you can’t obtain a “certificate of live birth” anymore.

The state Department of Health no longer issues copies of paper birth certificates as was done in the past, said spokeswoman Janice Okubo.
The department only issues “certifications” of live births, and that is the “official birth certificate” issued by the state of Hawaii, she said.
And, it’s only available in electronic form.
Okubo explained that the Health Department went paperless in 2001.

Would this be true 40 years ago?  So you are telling me there is no birth certificate from when he was born.

Yes there is a birth certificate but you don't believe that.

How do you know there is a birth certificate?  You have actually seen proof of the hospital's certificate of birth with the doctor's name, hosp, and certification stamp?  Cool.  Seems noone else has hence the conspiracy.  You should blogophy your evidence and put an end to this foolishness.  Thanks, I'm tired of talking about it.  Cure to the rescue.

Proof Barack Obama Birth Certificate is a Forgery.
This is an exclusive exposing the Barack Obama birth certificate as an absolute forgery and it has been in plain sight all along.
There can not be any Obamaniacs descending on sites claiming the experts are wrong, pixels are wrong or any other way of muddying the waters as the 1000 points of darkness have been carrying out their marching orders.

Below is a cut out of one part of the published Barack Obama birth certificate which exposes the fraud and forgery of this document. This is the certified certificate from Barack Obama himself.

What has been staring everyone in the face is the effects of political correctness and no one has seen it. The beauty of this liberal political correctness is that the person who forged this document got caught in their own trap of affirmative action hyphenated Americans.

Look closely at Stanley Ann Dunham's race. Caucasian.

Now look closely at Barack Hussein Obama sr's race. It is listed as African.
That doesn't seem all that interesting and no one has noticed it until one looks that this is an official document filed in August 1961.

Most people on the internet and blogging have no sense of history nor in the use of words and it is this lack of sense which is going to bite whoever forged this document.

Up until 1968, the standard term for all Africans was "negroe". This fit with the absolute secular scientific teaching of the day which notes the world has 3 races in Mongoloid, Caucasoid and Negroid.
It was not until the Black Revolution when negroe or negro became a foul description in the late 1960's and then "black" was demanded by this group to describe them.
It was not until the late 1970's when political correctness came into vogue that it ushered in by the 1980's the term "African" to describe all blacks.

Whoever forged this birth certificate was not utilizing the 1960's terminology which a black person would be listed as. They fell instead into a warped year 2000 politically correct description of "African".

This is absolutely telling as if you looked at birth records in Prussia centuries ago, those people would be termed Prussian, Bavarian etc... as Germany did not yet exist as a termonology for nation state. If someone was listed as German in 1700, it would be glaring forgery just like the Obama forgery stuns the eyes once one knows what they are looking at.

One could research the certificates in Hawaii for absolutes, but considering as has been warned in this blog that Hawaii is a Democratic state, has Democratic officials who have been hemming and hawing about this certificate and only upon precise questioning do they start backing down as it means their jobs and prison time if they certify a forgery as real and this is Democratic transplanted son Barack Obama carrying on this charade, could one ever get a clear answer from them unless one looked at numbers of birth certificates to precisely learn how Hawaii was labeling "blacks".
If this case it is African, then why is not Stanley Ann Dunham labeled correctly North American after her continent? She though is labeled correctly as caucasian as that is exactly as she is.

If one still today searches enough death certificates in the 50 United States, you will find listed on them the term NEGRO. Now that is over 40 years since 1961 in Barack Obama's birth and political correctness has not reached completely into the coroner's records.
That fact is scientific and if it still exists today as proof it certainly is the proof from before 1900 in America and past 1960 that all blacks were noted as "negroe" or "negro" on all public records from birth certificates, marriage licenses, passports, driver's licenses to death certificates.

Whoever forged the Barack Obama birth certificate got caught in Mr. Obama's own political correctness.
In 1961 America, blacks were negroes and not Africans no matter if they came from Africa or not.
If one cares to examine the Negroe Leagues in baseball where blacks were to "pass" as Cubans to the United Negroe College Fund to the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, there was no African at all in any terminology.
One was negroe on legal documents and "colored" in common usage.

No pixels in this. No questioning borders and no questions about the researcher's expertise as negroe is American history and scientific fact just like whoever forged the Obama birth certificate got caught in political correctness in not being able to use a term they were trained to avoid.

That is a fact. This birth certificate is a fake.

Quoted:

"When people decide what to believe in, sometimes they hang their faith on small things, things that are intuitive and meaningful especially to them.

Those who believe that Barack Obama was born in Africa have precious little to hang their beliefs on. Some hang their belief on the edited version of an audio recording that seems to show Obama’s grandmother saying that he was born in Kenya (not so in the unedited version). Some believe that a name on an Indonesian school record trumps everything. Some believe that Obama’s birth certificate is a forgery because it contains the word “African”.

It turns out that’s wrong.

Race on a birth certificate doesn’t come from a hospital worker looking at the father and writing down the father’s race; it is determined by asking the father what he considers his race to be. This is the instruction for filling out a birth certificate from the National Center for Health Statistics:

25. FATHER’S RACE (Check one or more races to indicate what the father considers himself to be)
□ White
□ Black or African American
□ American Indian or Alaska Native (Name of the enrolled or principal tribe)________________
□ Asian Indian
□ Chinese
□ Filipino
□ Japanese
□ Korean
□ Vietnamese
□ Other Asian (Specify)______________________________
□ Native Hawaiian
□ Guamanian or Chamorro
□ Samoan
□ Other Pacific Islander (Specify)______________________
□ Other (Specify)___________________________________

So clearly the question is not how Americans described Africans, but how Africans described Africans in 1961, which brings us to the featured Kwame Nkruma. Nkruma was an influential 20th century advocate of Pan-Africanism, and the leader of Ghana and its predecessor state, the Gold Coast, from 1952 to 1966. In his in his 1961 book, I Speak of Freedom, he wrote:

Quote:
I believe strongly and sincerely that with the deep-rooted wisdom and dignity, the innate respect for human lives, the intense humanity that is our heritage, the African race, united under one federal government, will emerge not as just another world bloc to flaunt its wealth and strength, but as a Great Power whose greatness is indestructible because it is built not on fear, envy and suspicion, nor won at the expense of others, but founded on hope, trust, friendship and directed to the good of all mankind.

Africans had been speaking of the “African race” since at least the 19th century. African nationalist John Chilembwe of Nyassaland said:

Quote:
“to unite together in the name of Jesus Christ such persons as desire to see full justice done to the African race and are resolved to work towards the day when African people shall become an African Christian nation”…”to pursue steadily and unswervingly the policy of ‘Africa for Africans!’”

Considerations on the African Question (1894) page 159.

Africanus Horton (1835-1883), also known as James Beale, was a Creole writer and folklorist from Freetown, Sierra Leone. His 1868 book was A Vindication of the African Race.

See also:

Edward Blyden, the West Indian Negro who settled in Liberia as early as 1850, was probably the first man to use the term “African Personality.” He explained this term by writing that, “ Every race has a soul, and the soul of a race finds expression in its institutions.” He went on to write in 1888 that, he would rather be a member of the African race, than a Greek in the time of Alexander, a Roman in the Augustan period, or an Anglo-Saxon in the nineteenth century. A History of African Unity

Pan-Africans thought that there were some characteristics of the African race that distinguished it from other races. One of the essential elements of this race was that religiously Africans were bound together. For that reason they should have one system of belief (J. S. Mbiti 1969)John Samuel Mbiti, theologian, author, teacher and pastor, called “the father of contemporary African theology,” was born on Monday, November 30th, 1931 in Mulango, Kitui, Kenya.

Update:

An industrious proponent of the African objection has dug up a volume, Vital Statistics of the United States – 1961 that talks about the classification. I first referenced that document last year in my article: Obama Birth Certificate Number proves it’s a fake – busted. The document contains this interesting statement:

Quote:
Births in the United States in 1961 are classified for vital statistics into white, Negro, American Indian, Chinese, Japanese, Aleut, Eskimo, Hawaiian and Part-Hawaiian (combined), and “other nonwhite.”

For “vital statistics” purposes, the races of infants were classified into one of those categories. However, this statement is about “births” not parents. For parents, as we have seen above, race is self-declared and open-ended. Now take a look at the famous “Alan” hospital birth certificate and tell me what race Alan was. WOW! It’s not on the form! The hospital didn’t report the race of the child, only that of the father and mother. This is because the child’s race was not self reported, it was classified later. In the case of Barack Obama, the clerk would have looked at the father’s race: “African” and the mother’s race: “Caucasian” and written down (by the rules of 1961) “Negro” on the tally sheet.

The key point is the classification scheme for infant race is unrelated to the self-reporting of race by the infant’s parents."
