Imus being attacked on today's Oprah show......Why is it that some people can look at any one quote from a person and pull all kind of bad things from that quote???
Some lady on Oprah today says that "nappy-headed ho" takes her back to remembering what her family went thru as slaves. How can this be.........?? What part of nappy headed ho has anything to do with slavery?? I just love how folks turn things around looking for pitty or a law suit. No one in today's world had anything to do with slavery, so why is it still an offense to the world?
Rev. Al Sharpton is also on the show talking.....what a waste.
Why is OK for black hip hop singers and rappers to call other blacks hoes and the "n" term, but if a white person does it....he/she is doomed for life if they are in a big position????

Most of the forward thinking people that have commented on this subject agree that it's not acceptable for anyone to use that kind of language.

I'll agree it was uncalled for........not doubting that by any means. I am just thinking how funny it is about all the folks that were on Oprah today and the things they gathered from what Imus said. Nappy headed ho has a long definition now according to Al and Jessie........it dates all the way back to slavery.

Did they comment on the brutality of the blacks at the Juneteenth celebrations all over the country? What about the big fight that broke out when a guy driving down the road hit a kid. The child is fine, but the celebrants drug the man out of his car and beat him. A passenger tried to help him and he was KILLED by the mob. They were latino gentlemen BTW. But we heard nothing about that, or the other violence that went on surrounding Juneteenth.
