Only 20% of Americans consider themselves far left liberals like Barack Obama. Gallup reported: Conservatives continue to outnumber moderates and liberals in the American populace in 2009, confirming a finding that Gallup first noted in June. Forty percent of Americans describe their political views as conservative, 36% as moderate, and 20% as liberal. This marks a shift from 2005 through 2008, when moderates were tied with conservatives as the most prevalent group. |

Same poll shows that in the 18-29 age group, 70 percent are moderate or liberal and 30 percent are conservative. Looks like future elections will be leaning toward the more moderate side.

And it also . . . means . . . 80% are not liberal. Like I said, you all are incapable of seeing reality for what it is. America is predominantly center-right to right. What it means is conservatives outnumber liberals 2 to 1. Along with all the disillusioned independents who feel they were insidiously tricked by the 'great uniter' who turned out to be the 'great divider', 2010 will be telling. |
