When you search for "Roanoke Rapids" on these search engines, here's where RoanokeRapidsLife.com is:

Yahoo: 13 (2nd page)
MSN: 4th page
Google: Went through 20 pages, and didn't find it.
Ask Jeeves: 17 pages of results and didn't find it.
Lycos: 17 pages of results and didn't find it.

When you earch for "Carolina Crossroads Roanoke Rapids" on these search engines, here's where RoanokeRapidsLife.com is:

Yahoo: 10 (1st page!)
MSN: 7 (1st page!)
Google: Went through 20 pages, and didn't find it.
Ask Jeeves: 19 pages of results and didn't find it.
Lycos: Nowhere to be had.

Most of the searches are coming from MSN.
Then RoanokeRapidsLife.com is getting visitors from RoRap.net, then yahoo.

Lesson: It's hard to crack the Google, Jeeves, and Lycos grid.

The other two big search engines are Google, Ask.com, and Lycos.

Oh, for searches on Carolina Crossroads -- that's been more difficult. But searches for "Carolina Crossroads Roanoke Rapids" yields:

Page 1, #8 link on yahoo.
Page 1, #10 on MSN.

I searched for Roanoke Rapids today on MSN and RRLIfe was in the #3 spot. That's pretty good I think.

I've done pretty well with MSN. It's google that's tough. But I get found through things like Carolina Crossroads Events/News/ etc.

But not just Carolina Crossroads.

RRL is now on page 3 (for 20 items per page listings) on Google for searches on Roanoke Rapids.
RRL is also page 3 on Google for searches for Carolina Crossroads.

If you just put in Roanoke Rapids on Yahoo search Roanoke Rapids Life is number eight on the first page.

Wow somebody (probably Jim) is bitching about you on RRDailyHerald, saying you have no allegiance to this town and are only here to make money and then move on. What a douche. I haven't seen Jim trying to do anything with local schools and other things that don't affect the bottom line. What a bunch of damn hypocrites. They want to bust up the "good ol' boys" that run things, yet they are the people with money to get things done, and then they *&$% about people developing new things in the area and not being from here, when you in fact are from here. I guess its because your not a slumlord in town who takes advantage of people who can't afford to buy a house.
