Yeah, that is okay for folks who liked Regan, but I didn't really care for him. One of his campaign points was stopping the runaway spending of the Carter administration. Well, he didn't. And then there was his involvement in the Iran hostages. And then there were other things, so I didn't really like him.

I honestly can't remember Carters presidency as I was in middle school, but I do think Reagan was a very positive person who tried his best to be a peaceful soul & I can see he did some good while in office. But to be honest, I am not into politics & am pretty lost when it comes to them.

Well, I was 2 when Regan got elected... LOL

I remember Ronald Reagan very well and his "voodoo economics". The success in his foreign policy was offset by the failures in domestic policy.

Think I have all of you beat, I remember the day President Kennedy was shot! I was almost three, and remember my mom crying most of the day, and staying glued to the TV. Dad came home from work (all government employees were told to go home that day) and he stayed glued to the TV as well. It is funny now, I remember the EXACT place I was when it happened! Crying or Very sad
