Some bad accident must have happened...Some bad accident must have happened on NC 125 between I-95 and Halifax... In the last 5 minutes, four EMS vehicles and a fire truck have gone by with lights and sirens running... I guess I'll find out tomorrow...

I live near the Carolina Crossroads site, on NC 125. I've only seen this many emergency vehicles run by my window only a couple times before. Didn't know if anyone here had a scanner or was in one of the emergency services...
And another ambulance just went by...

Well, I hope they are alright too, but I guess someone is hurt since an ambulance just went by heading to RR with everything going... Just curious since the road is my job and well, I haven't seen this much activity go by since I moved here...

I've never heard of illegal backing but I have seen these truck drivers backing into their yards all the time. Anybody know what illegal backing is?

Spent a couple hours looking... and didn't find anything to pin it down. LOL Best idea I can come up with is that they give improper backing tickets when you back into something without maintaining control or taking proper safety percautions. A lot of grey, but I guess the troopers didn't like the way the truck driver backed his semi, so he got a ticket.

i find myself wondering a similar thing here in murfreesboro now =/ i was outside looking at the eclipse with my dad, and we heard a couple of firetrucks and ambulances or something with their sirens going. i dont know where they were going though.
