Why Post On RoRap?Why would you want to join this board and post? What other Roanoke Valley website lets you post your opinions without fear of them being deleted or edited? I look at some of the other sites from time to time and if you don't go along with the flow you don't get to stay around too long. Why would you post somewhere that you can't say what you really want to say? I've been the admin here for a little over a year now and i've only deleted two post and in those cases the poster violated the policy of the board by trying to reveal someone's identity. If you want to be heard, come join us.

That'd be just peachy, if it were true.
I've yet to have a single post edited at... *ahem* the board I'm apparently not allowed to even name.
While today, I've had three posts edited, after asking politely that they not be.
After researching this forums rules and FAQs, I find not one single mention of this, "not being allowed to mention or link to ---------"
Though, I did find this particularly interesting tidbit:
What are Moderators?
"Moderators are individuals (or groups of individuals) whose job it is to look after the running of the forums from day to day. They have the power to edit or delete posts and lock, unlock, move, delete and split topics in the forum they moderate. Generally moderators are there to prevent people going off-topic or posting abusive or offensive material."
So I could understand being edited if i were a troll, posting completely off topic, or being abusive/offensive. But on the contrary, I was simply posting helpful information regarding the very topic being discussed.
This is something that needs to be addressed ASAP.
