Honestly though, I'd say you have some legit postings, and he can't stand that the fact for you asking him to prove his debates with facts....but it does work.
I don't have any beef with Lawson, I think he did well at the PD....the fact that throws me off with Lawson is the fact he was head of the PD and I realize he worked hard at fighting crime and doing his job.....but don't come up with a campaign based on fighting crime in the mill village and how you plan to clean it up now while you couldn't clean it up as head of the PD. You also have to realize the folks that cause the problems in that area as well...lock'em up now and they beat the po-po back to the streets, doing the same things again, and thats part of the problem there.......but don't base a campaign on cleaning up problems that you couldn't clean up when you had the biggest position in the city PD just a short period of time back. Lawson did well as a Chief I honestly believe, and its gonna be a tough race to the wire between Baker and Lawson, but my bet is on Baker. Both good candidates and it'll be a fight to the end, a very close race.......probably the best one we will ever see in Ro Rap.

I don't have a beef with Lawson either. Perhaps he is qualified, and perhaps not. My point with Jim is that I like to make an informed decision when I vote, and taking his word for it isn't an informed decision. I tend to your viewpoint above. Lawson as police shief didn't do much if anything to clean up the mill village. Those sections of town have continued to deteriorate over the years, and no one has slowed that, not even Jim's Greg Lawson. At the same time, Baker has done more harm than good. Perhaps neither candidate is qualified and neither should hold the office.
