Wasn't this the same person that said she wanted to see who could let it go first? Seems like she can't let it go. But then again she has no life either.

I'd say that's $17 too much.

LOL....First of he will never leave Roanoke Rapids....And on the latter part my guess is no, on the whole fist fight thing....AND OF COURSE HE GOT PICKED ON IN SCHOOL..... Hes a grown man and he still gets picked on..... LOL

What a waste of space.... he would serve a much greater purpose as fertilizer... I'm glad I'm young ...my chances of seeing that day are pretty good...LOL

Didn't take long for Jim to start doing his thing with the new crowd at city hall:

Quote:
The newest battle is starting small but it is growing everyday and has many locals up in arms and I think the city leaders are drawing lines in the sand that they cannot win... One thing this city has always done well is alienate the people that they need... This city is a business supported by other businesses and they need buy-in from their supporting business. Our new leaders just like our old ones lack the experience of getting people to work together and support their initiatives, goals and objectives. I am hearing rumbling in the background where one of the largest nearly-invisible industries in this area are really mad and it appears our new city manager is not planning to make friends in this battle.

In my 25 years watching how things work here in Roanoke Rapids... you can piss some of the people off some of the time but when you piss off too many people at one time, your goose is cooked! Even if the City Manager is right it will not be a good career move??? The City Manager needs to refocus his efforts not on being a bully and work on getting people to work together before it is to late.

Jim's nickname should be "catfish". He is a bottom dweller that feeds on controversy and conflict. He offers no solutions, but instead criticizes others for their deeds and attempts to improve peoples lives. It is easy to be a "Monday morning Quarterback" when you don't have any "skin in the game".

Suetta, Emory, and Greg will be getting their dose of Jim's medicine before long. This time, however, I think Jim is going to fare a little worse than he did with the others. Code Enforcement is coming Jim. They have you in their sites, and I am going to enjoy every minute of it. This is going to be better than any act they can bring to the theatre, thats for sure!  Razz

Jim is the type of individual that thrives on drama and chaos, and he is "ground zero" when it comes to divisiveness and discord in this community. I never knew how far his slimy little tentacles reached until I had the opportunity to speak to some folks around the area.

You're right rooster... code enforcement is coming down the pike, and it's aimed directly at the slumlords, Jim Garrett included! I'm going to have front row center seats for that show! Who's bringing the popcorn???

In another thread a few weeks ago I made the statement "Be careful what you wish for, you just might get it." Well, Jim has been wanting change for a long time and he is finally going to get a lot more than he bargained for! Razz
