Didn't spend a lot of time on it coastie. I didn't have a horse in any of the races. I couldn't vote anyway. I guess they'll be a lot of 3-2 votes huh?

Most understand.

The ones that need to understand the results tonight are the holdovers.  If they dont they will be next.

We will find out, won't we? I am now taking bets on how long it will be for the newbies to have the "wrath of Jim" thrown at them.  Razz

Look back through the election related posts.  You don't remember talking up Baker and talking down Scarborough at every opportunity?

As soon as he doesn't get his way he will start kicking and screaming like a little girl. I've always gotten the impression that JG wants special consideration from those in local government, as if he deserves it. For the life of me I cannot fathom why on earth he thinks he does. He's no different nor better than the rest of us, yet his arrogance continues to dictate to him that he is.

Things change.  I wasn't that interested in the World Series, but after seeing your post I"m pulling for the Phillies.

Sure I talked them up but I don't live in Roanoke Rapids. I still think they would have done a better job than Lawson and Scarbrough will do. In Scarbrough's case you have to question her character. I just know i'm glad she's not representing me.

Jim provides such a valuable service to the citizens of RR. He brought all that negative attention to RR by dragging the theatre issue and everyone involved through the mud. If the Mayor and council had originally said no to the proposal, he would have spouted off that that none of the leaders wanted progress. Hindsight is 20/20 and it is easy to be a Monday morning quarterback. Had the theatre deal been a success, they would all be heroes, and Jim still would find something to complain about.

Watch out folks, don't let ol Jim fool ya. It won't be long before he'll have somebody else in his gun sights. Code enforcement is going to be his next soapbox. He thinks everybody else should have to adhere to the rules and regs, but as soon as Jim gets cited, he'll be crowing and crying like a baby and dragging more good people through the mud! Wink
