You can often tell the character of a political candidate by what they don't say. Suetta Scarbrough has taken the low road in this campaign. She let a surrogate do her dirty work and hide behind a so-called illness when it was exposed. Is this the kind of councilman we want representing Roanoke Rapids? I don't care what she's done or hasn't done prior to this campaign but I know how she's conducted herself in the last 10 days. Scarbrough's campaign signs tell us to vote wisely. Vote wisely indeed.

| Cure, if you are going to jump one candiate about being silent let's talk about the candiate who didnot show up for the last forum at the civic center and the last candiate who didnot show up for the talk show on radio.(Jon the JON JON ). He is a nice guy, but like you said VOTE WISELY. |

| One Citizen - haven't you noticed over the past month or so - Cure is obviously for the incumbents and against the challengers. He takes every opportunity to find fault with the challengers - I don't recall him pointing out all the positive things the incumbents have done and will do in the future. |

| It"s not the fault that Cure finds against the challengers but he needs to keep up to date on what is really going on. I have one candiate that I like, but, I try not to down grade the candiate he is running against. This city is facing tough times and we all need to think hard about who we are voting for and why,not just because we donot like JG and who JG is voting for. |

Most of the voters didn't know about the Wade thing one citizen. I can't question the character of the people that didn't know, only those, like you, that did know.
